Braun Brothers Reunion 2020 Lineup

We are so excited to announce this year’s stellar line-up! We always strive to bring exciting music to the Braun Brothers Reunion and this year is jam packed with some amazing new artists and an impressive list of bands we have all come to know and love.

You will notice that we are offering limited single-day passes for the first time online this year but do not wait as there are only 500 per day available. We will still offer the two-day and three-day passes online and will offer walk-up tickets for any days that do not sell out. Friday and Saturday have sold out in advance the last two years so we highly recommend buying your tickets early. Click here for tickets!

We are kicking off Thursday, Aug 6th with two Idaho bands that are no strangers to the BBR. Tylor and the Train Robbers return for their second year in a row due to popular demand from their loyal and ever growing fan-base across the country. The band has released a great new record and has been touring extensively since last year’s festival.

Jeff Crosby and the Refugees have had a crazy year on the road and in the studio. They have a new record in the can that is gaining rave reviews and will be available at the merch booth. PaPa Dave Crosby will be there the help you out! Jeff spent much of 2019 on the road with Reckless Kelly playing guitar with the band for 6 months. During this time Jeff, Micky, and Willy wrote several songs together, many of which ended up on both RK and MMC’s new records. Both will be available at the merch booth, as well.

Nikki Lane is the coolest artist on the scene right now! She has spent the past few years playing every huge festival across the country and beyond. Recently at Music Fest in Steamboat CO, Nikki was seen crowd surfing across a sea of hands during the finale song of the event! Nikki has made a name for herself by writing unapologetic country songs delivered with a double shot of style and swagger. We are so excited to have Nikki making her debut appearance at the festival this year and know she will be one of the artists that everyone will be talking about the next day!

Ned LeDoux has been our friend and a guy we have looked forward to seeing out on the road since we were kids on tour with our dads. Ned has played the Braun Brothers Reunion many times over the years and we are so proud to have him as our headlining act Thursday night! With a new record under his belt and a slew of shows opening for the likes of Garth Brooks and Toby Keith, Ned has had a very busy couple of years since we last had him at BBR. Ned and the band are the real thing and we can’t wait to see them do what they do best closing down the first night of music!

Friday, Aug 7th – There is only one way to kick off Friday afternoon’s shows and that is with a BANG! Cody Canada has been to more Braun Brothers Reunion’s than most Brauns have and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Cody was honored this year at MusicFest in Steamboat, CO as the tribute artist and received an award for his music and dedication to the genre. We were proud to be there with him and his family and are so happy to welcome them all back to the BBR stage.

A new face and sound to the BBR but a name most country and TX blues music fans know well is Lee Roy Parnell. Lee Roy has been a known TX guitar slinger for decades and had many top ten country hits in the early and mid-90s. As teenagers we drove a million miles on Custer County dirt roads blasting his hits like “On the Road” and “What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am” among others. We are very honored to have Lee Roy and the band here this year and look forward to hearing many of the tunes that helped shape the Americana genre of music.

BJ Barham and the band better known as American Aquarium have been to BBR a couple times in past years and we are thrilled to have them back! These guys tour harder than anyone in the scene and never seem to tire of the road. There is a reason they are one of the most requested bands at BBR every year. Their energy is infectious and the songs are haunting true stories about the good and the bad of real life.

With a brand new record out and getting rave reviews, Micky and the Motorcars have been in high gear for the last couple years! The recent addition of multiple instrumentalist, Pablo Trujillo, has made the motorcars an unstoppable force and the MMC fans have been loving the addition. With Gary Braun writing and taking the lead on several songs off the now record, “Long Time Comin’” produced by Keith Gattis, the Motorcars continue to grow in leaps and bounds as writers and performers. Closing out the show Friday night is right where these guys should be. They are sure to fire up the home town crowd!

Saturday, Aug 8th – With gates at noon on Saturday make sure to drink plenty of water throughout this amazing
day of music! Kicking things off will be the hosts of the weekend The Braun Family. We never quite know what this set will hold until hours before the set but it is always a highlight for fans and family alike…A glimpse into to past and a peek into the future. There is nothing more fun than playing tunes with your family.

Kaitlin Butts is a thunderstorm. A tornado warning. The siren wail of a small town’s caution system still in use. Behind her flowing locks of auburn hair, Oklahoma twang, and wry grin, grows a demanding voice and equally devastating storyteller. This high-rising Oklahoma native is steadily blooming into a quick-witted writer who has the ability to pick the right details to make a song and story believable and real. We are so excited to introduce the BBR audience to one of our new found favorites!!

The Peterson Brothers made their BBR debut in 2015 and blew everyone away with their original brand of Austin funk, soul, and rhythm and blues. We are so happy to have the guys back again this year! They have not missed a beat in the last five years touring with huge artists like Gary Clark, Jr., Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, New Power Generation (Prince’s longtime band), Buddy Guy, and more. They are featured on the cover Buddy Magazine’s January 2020 issue. In the feature story, Chuck Flores writes, “To witness the Peterson Brothers’ live show is to witness sheer joy. There’s the constant eye contact and electric smiles that pass between them, the undeniable ebullience. And then there’s the way they move together on stage, stepping and twisting, swaying together, then suddenly freezing (but only for a beat or so, but then again you never know — they never play anything the same way twice), then it’s right back into the groove.”

Corb Lund has been to the BBR many times in the past ten years and the crowd always looks forward to his return. With a solid foothold and vast understanding of western and country music, Corb blends ideas and stories of the old days with a unique twist that is hard to put your finger on. You just know you like it when you hear it. Corb has a great new record out called Agricultural Tragic and in his first single “90 Seconds of Your Time” tips his hat to Idaho and a hunting trip with our buddy Evan Felker. Be sure to pick up a copy at the merch booth and enjoy!!

Mike and the Moonpies are back on the road in the USA after spending time in London last year recording a record at Abby Road with the London Symphony!!! Yes that’s right! Our honkytonk buddies took things to a whole new level on their new record Cheap Silver and Solid Country Gold. These guys debuted at the Braun Brothers Reunion in 2018 and were one of the most talked about artists we had that year. They are Rolling Stone Magazine’s new favorite band and we could not be happier to have them back on Saturday night this year!

Reckless Kelly spent over a month in the studio last year working on their brand new double album, American Jackpot and American Girls. The record has been burning up the TX and Americana charts already and the guys feel that these new records are the best representation of the band in years. Covering American song topics from sea to shining sea, this new collection of all original tunes has something for everyone. The band had many guest players and writers on this project and will be playing lots of the new tunes, as well as old faves during their closing set Saturday night at BBR. Look for lots of special guest stars and as always save your voice for the grand finale sing along at the end of the show!

August can’t get here soon enough, but until then, go pick up some of this new music to listen to on your way to what will surely be another epic Braun Brothers Reunion!!! See ya soon!!
