Wow! What an amazing show! This was our first year going to the BBR. Great music and scenery! The trip up from Utah was fantastic. We had a heard of antelope run in front of us north of Atomic city, dodged red foxes and weasles between Mackay and Challis and took a drive from Challis to Stanley and down to the fish hatchery where we saw big horn sheep, and an osprey with a hugw fish hanging from it's tallons not 25 feet from our windshield! Got to visit with Cody, Gary and Micky too. What genuine nice guys they are. you can be proud of all your boys Muzzy! Also visited with Randy Rogers and his band mates. Some of the most friendly guys you'll meet! Already planning on next year and plan on bringing friends who won't want to miss out on this event. Muzzy you were right about the fish pond being a great place to camp. Thanks for the tip!

Hmm, there are an awful lot of exclamation marks on this site -- perhaps these folks are stressed and slightly overwrought? Too many decades in any sort-of-city? Late-breaking news: we live at a much easier pace here in Idaho, y'all. Come to The Reunion; stretch out, close your eyes, breathe. You may live several lives before you’ll ever experience this type of event again. Lord knows they are rare these days. There are no fences to pen you in, and you are allowed to smoke outside. The only request is that, in all ways, you’re considerate of your neighbor. Junk food is plentiful, as are t-shirts and baseball caps. So are smiles and friendly faces. This is what’s called “VACATION”. As for my spouse and I, we're attending the Reunion again. We'll forget our mucked-up lives for a time and enjoy the music, which is bone-rattling deep. It will stay with you for years. We’ll get sunburned, wind burned, HOPEFULLY rain burned, and come away thinking that life doesn’t get any better (thanks, boys). It doesn’t matter if the food runs out, the potties are full, or the burning wilderness smokes us into an asthmatic coma. We’ll enjoy, endure, and go back to work on Monday, feeling a whole lot better about life. P.S.: if "Brazzo" parks his farm diesel truck behind my tent again, I might have to become subversive in some manner, and load his tailpipe with a bona-fide Idaho potato. We're from Idaho. We like lonely places, blue skies, and we don't like smog or exhaust of any sort (unless it’s wood-generated). So park those gas-hogs and WALK! Here's to you, Muzzie...

I have been a follower of the Brauns since I can remember. Road trips with my dad, concerts at Sunbeam, and knowing the Braun boys from Challis. I am so happy for you guys on your success. I have been to the last 3 Reunions in a row, and many before that. However, the Reunion has lost the small town feel I grew up loving. I will not be attending the reunion this year for that reason and others such as the ever increasing ticket costs and the over all cost to attend the weekend. It's great that your fan base has increased so much, but it is squeazing out your original friends, and it now seems to be a higher number of out of state fans instead. So... catch 22, glad your successful, but wish it was small town sometimes still.
